We noticed these fellows about a half mile away on the next ridge. They had hiked in some way and hacked steps in a near verticle wall of snow and built a small snow structure. Denise took the closeup with a 10X optical zoom with 4X digital zoom, so that will give you an idea of the distance they were from us.
